I thought this LED rope to replace the supposedly waterproof LED tape on my outdoor pergola. I was originally hesitant because the price for a Alexa enabled LED rope is twice as much as this one, and shorter too.But out of my surprise the quality is good and it works really well. Download the app and you can change the color scheme with different scenes and also schedule to have it on and off at any given time.The only minor complaint that I have, is the screws for the holders are kind of weak, so was rhe double sided adhesive tape, the are not meant to hold the weight of the rope, a thick rubber rope like this one, especially when they installed facing down, need to have a re-designed heavy duty holder. But it’s not a biggie, I like the quality for the price I paid it’s excellent.It has been raining for 3, 4 times lately, and this rope light is working just fine, no short and turn on at night as scheduled.Will get another one soon(had just installed a second one), for the Christmas deco on the front balcony, that tells you how much I like it.Only works with WIFI. Does not support Bluetooth even though this listing says it does.This is a great rope light. 16' is plenty long enough to line a way, go around a doorway, or light up under a couch or counter area. The app is great, work with Alexa, and will even synch with the music that is playing. The colors are bright, not in sunlight, but in a darker room or nighttime, they are the perfect brightness. Hanging them nicely is a bit of a challenge, but not bad enough to take away from the rating.I wanted more rgb rope lights. So purchased this to extend my neon rope light. First off the rgb lighting is amazing and so is the price. The only complaint i have was it didnt come with enough hardware mounting brackets to install it correctly . I came with 8 mounting brackets for 16.4ft of rope. I could not recommend this item.
