These light up our two car garage really well. I hung them on chains to get them below some obstructions like a main beam holding up part of the second floor. Now I have wall to wall light. The cables they come with to hang didn’t seem adjustable in length unless I didn’t get creative enough? I just picked up some cheap chain at the local hardware store. They arrived a little kinked/dented from shipping. A block of wood and a hammer fixed this. I’m ready to moonlight at that Ferrari collision shop now.Actual Lumens? Not sure. But I know they advertise more lumens for less money than the ones at Home Depot.Looking forward to more projects in the garage this winter now that I can see!I bought these units to replace old 8ft dbl tube fluorescent fixtures with ballast. I was expecting these to put out more light than the dbl fluorescent tubes but they do don't they seem to even put out as much.Easy to install and very bright. I like this light better than the old 8-foot fluorescent light that took time to warmup and that buzzed and flickered. I am happy with this product and it will use much less power.I used this on the bottom of a truss 12' above the floor. Exponentially brighter than the other florescent fixtures around the garage. Will buy more.This light was attractive, bright, well-constructed, and easy to install. However, it lacks the electronics that better LED lamps have that would prevent the STROBING that results from the 60hz alternating current. When you move your eyes quickly across the room, everything in the room has the strobe effect. If you move your eyes quickly across a white dot surrounded by a dark background, for example, you see a line of dots, as compared to better quality lighting (or daylight) that would result in a smooth line as your eyes zip across the dot.They aren't as bright as what I expected. UPS unfortunately didn't do a very good job of getting them to me undamaged. Both of them were bent but one of them was worse than the other. They were easy to install after I bent them back into shape.Everything worked as advertised.Very light and can hange anywhere. cheap wiring but that's all you need for led today. They throw a lot of light. 2 in a 15 x 30ft storage room was enough.
