I wanted these to work out. I'm just so sick of ordering stuff on internet and the colors are off. My fear was that the beads would look cheap. I don't think they do but they are just much bigger than they appeared in picture. My cabinets are off white and the picture on the screen of light gray/slightly whiter would have gone perfectly. Also I have brass pulls. The brass is much darker than the picture and the beads are big and way more gray. Overall, if you have a neutral palette I can see these working. I just needed them to look exactly like picture and they didn't. That powder coating is kind of odd...if the colors had been right I would have overlooked that. Overall, this is a good fixture and could give a space that beachy feel. For this price I have seen some very cheap chintzy fixtures with the beads that are plastic.UPDATE: Amazon sent me a replacement, the new chandelier "tiny screw to hold the plate in place" it worked this time.Is not coated.... if you touch it too much during installation the grey pain will come off is chalk... also the most annoying part after i put it up. I am about to put the cables cover in place, come with a tiny screw to hold the plate in place and do not want to tight to hold it in place just spins and spins and never gets tight. Tomorrow I will try to find another screw at Lowes BUT honestly I have bought cheaper chandeliers with better way of hold the cover plate in place.... If i can not fix it getting something at Lowes I will need to return it.Perfect! No problems with the install today and they are exactly what I was expecting.I love this chandelier! It is a great quality.
